The Dow Jones Industrial Average’s top session performance was JPMorgan Chase & Co (NYSE: JPM), which increased 4.20% or 4.67 points to close at 115.86. American Express Company (NYSE: AXP) was up 3.49% or 4.77 points to 141.58 in the late session. Moreover, Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ: MSFT) gained 3.92% or 8.97 points to close at 237.53.

Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc (NASDAQ: WBA), which dropped by 0.72% or 0.24 points to close at 33.00, was the worst-performing stock of the day. Dow Inc. (NYSE: DOW) increased by 0.31% or 0.14 points to reach 45.26. Meanwhile, 3M Company (NYSE: MMM) gained 0.20% or 0.23 points to close at 113.86.
Ceridian HCM Holding Inc (NYSE: CDAY) increased 8.08% to 56.04. DISH Network Corporation (NASDAQ: DISH), which increased 7.33% to settle at 13.91, and Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA), which closed at 219.35, were the top performers on the S&P 500. Fox Corp Class A (NASDAQ: FOXA) fell 9.41% to 28.58 in late trading, and Fox Corp Class B (NASDAQ: FOX), which dropped 8.09% to end at 26.80, were the worst performers. At the closing, Kroger Company (NYSE: KR) had lost 2.42%, reaching 42.12.
Acorda Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: ACOR) increased by 167.52% to close at 0. Furthermore, Inpixon (NASDAQ: INPX), which increased by 90.59% to close at 9, and Fednat Holding Co. (NASDAQ: FNHC), which increased by 60.35% to close at 0.83, were the top performers on the NASDAQ Composite. NGM Biopharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: NGM) fell 70.48% to 3.41 in late trading. Moreover, Minerva Neurosciences Inc. (NASDAQ: NERV), which lost 69.55% to settle at 4.09, and Intelligent Living Application Group Inc.
